Aus Katalonien kommen immer wieder großartige Musiker, die genau die Lebensfreude mit Tradition, Rumba Catalana mit Ska, mit Party und Tanz mischen. La Pegatina liefern besten, mitreißenden Mestizo-Sound. Die sieben Künstler lieben freudige Musik, die direkt ins Ohr und in die Beine geht; mit Texten auf Spanisch, Katalanisch und Französisch. Längst haben sie damit nicht nur Europa erobert, sondern auch Länder wie Kanada, China, Japan, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentinien oder Chile.

La Pegatina és, sens dubte, el millor revulsiu emocional que pot haver damunt d’un escenari. La seva festa és inusual en tant que enèrgica, divertida i ballable. Mai es cansen de repartir alegria i bogeria allà on van. Se’ls ha vist a més de 35 països (Mèxic, Argentina, Equador, Uruguai, Xile, Xina, Japó, Canadà i gran part d’Europa) i ja superen els 1200 concerts amb el seu estil variat: passen del merengue a la rumba o a l’ska amb gran facilitat i poden fer embogir el públic amb punk gitano.

Format per Alex Ojea (percussió), Jordi Amela (teclats), Jordi Prats (guitarra), Pep Espasa (saxòfon i flauta) i Toni Sánchez (baix), On the Raw és un grup català de progressive. La seva música, instrumental, beu de les fonts del jazz però flirteja amb el rock i l’electrònica. El resultat és un estil molt propi, molt emocional, que els està fent cada vegada més coneguts tant a Catalunya com arreu. De fet, el concert de Colònia forma part d’una gira per Europa que inclou Bèlgica i Luxemburg. I cal saber que als Països Baixos són molt apreciats, fins al punt que el seu segon disc va ser inclòs entre els millors del 2019 per la revista de referència en rock progressiu.

OTR ist ein aktuelles JazzProg Musikprojekt aus Barcelona der Mitglieder der Prog-Rock-Band Harvest Jordi Amela, Jordi Prats und Alex Ojea (beide Jordis spielten in den 90er auch bei Dracma). Flötist und Saxophonist Pep Espasa (Apple Smell Colour, Utròpic und Otxque!) und Bassist Toni Sànchez (Tràfic, KantFreudKafka) schlossen sich ihnen an, um das line-up zu komplettieren.

Ihre instrumentale Musik, ist beeinflusst von einer sehr vielfältigen Palette von musikalischen Farben, von Supertramp und Pink Floyd’s symphonischem Rock zu Spyro Gyra’s Jazz-Fusion oder Snarky Puppy’s Groove und erreicht einen ganz eigenen Klang und eine eigene Identität. Ihr letztes Album „Climbing the Air” ist ein Tribut an alle, die das Unmögliche erreichen wollen.
